Why I use Turbo Tax!!

The old saying that you pay for what you get is absolutely true. You can find a cheaper version of tax filing software but you will pay in the long run due to errors and missed credits and deductions that comes with the poor computing ability of other tax software.
What's great about it: Best of all tax software.
What's not so great: It costs to e-file state taxes.

Still the best!

Turbo Tax is an easy to use, very sophisticated Federal and State tax filing preparation tool. The outstanding integration of tax calculations and form input make an arduous task relaiable, fast and secure. The interview and the "Explore on your own" features are excellent. DO IT YOUR WAY! Great User Interface by a great team of Tax and software specialists. BRAVO!
What's great about it: Great Tax information, tightly integrated and fast calculations!
What's not so great: Slow boot cycle and update methods.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I continue to wish that there was a discount for returning users versus having to pay the full price every year.
What's great about it: Continues to be the easiest product to use and thorough.
What's not so great: Sometimes I did not really know what to do and had to use help.

Once again, TurboTax was easy to use. E-file sves me from having to drive downtown to the post office at midnight on the 15th.

Simplified calcuations

I've been using TurboTax for years and using standard deductions has always been what we've claimed. Filing online is easy and by using TurboTax every year, I can import the previous year's tax data and personal information that remains the same.
I'd like to see some sort of report to anticipate taxes for next year. For example, ideas on how to minimize one's tax burden. Being able to explore this more easily and printout reports for future reference would be more helpful.
The financial aspect of investments is confusing and I think requires a financial adviser to better navigate through it. Provide more details for novices on both current investments and how to reduce the tax burden for the next year through investments and/or employer offerings such as stock options would be beneficial.
What's great about it: I don't need to double check my calculations
What's not so great: Could be more comprehensive in some of the explanations by providing more details.
