while this is the first time filing it was ok for some areas but doing business expenses was tough to follow
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: car expensse hard to undersatnd

All in all I like TurboTax and use it year in and out.
What's great about it: I like the step by step instructions.
What's not so great: You still need to double check things from time to time.

I love your SW... been doing it for 5 years.. last night was the first night that I experienced issues... where were U !!
other than that.. you guys are great !!
What's great about it: it's the second night til I could file.. what happened last night ??

Hurray, Tax Day Made Easy!

What a relief to be able to do complicated tax forms (some self-employed kind of stuff to deal with) by just following the steps, answering the questions. I have missed out on some credits because the forms seemed to difficult. This time, with the step-by-step Q & A from TurboTax, I'm maximizing our tax credits this year. Whew! It was actually almost painless this year since I didn't have to pay a tax professional.
What's great about it: Loved, loved, loved, that I could review & re-review my tax forms until I had a satisfactory outcome.
What's not so great: Tricky to know where to put "housing allowance" for minister hubby without it counting double.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good overall experience. Always feel confident after walking through all the sections that Turbo Tax is working to get you the most money back, and that the program is accurate and reliable!
What's great about it: I like how Turbo Tax always walks you through the various sections. Feels complete.
What's not so great: A little more difficult to navigate back and forth than past versions.

User friendly

I've used turbo tax for all my taxes and find it user friendly. Simple program. Except the fact that it did not want to accept the signature date on the end worried me because it was the final date for filing.
What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: didn't want to accept the signature date, was kind of skeptic on the last day of filing.

Easy - Pulls info from previous year to alleviate extra typing of data, compares info from previous year also a benefit

Easy to use, but file vanished & 11th hr redo!

I completed my taxes the night before they were due, saved the file and a printed PDF copy. The night my taxes were due, my saved file was gone! I had to completely redo my entire taxes.
Other than that nightmare, I've usually had good luck with Turbo Tax and will use it again. I will just save my file multiple times and take a screen shot of the file in my documents in case it vanishes again.
