It would be of great value if you could simplify the AMT calculations, especially for prior year adjustments like state tax payments or refunds. Rest of the program works near perfectly. I have used your product for over a decade and you have consistently improved it year on year. Good work! Thank you.
What's great about it: Automatic transfer of prior year records, ease of use, and accuracy
What's not so great: AMT adjustments for prior year not straight forward, could benefit from INTUIT logic rather than DC logic :)

Like the ability to compare from previous year and helped me not miss something important.

no problems with tax return for family with most every issue present in today's family. Only issue was determining how to override a mistake during error review.
What's great about it: Everything in place to make easy return
What's not so great: Error Correction not as intuitive as you would think

I have been using the Deluxe TT for at least six years. It gets better every year.
What's great about it: Very easy and convenient to use
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick and easy. As long as you have the necessary douments handy, W-2, 1098, etc. it only takes about an hour.

Turbo Tax is a proven performer

TurboTax has worked well for us for the past 7 years. As a married couple with one college-aged child we've been able to stop using an accountant even through two home refinancings. It's Deductible is a great way to keep track of all your charitable donations throughout the year and not have to load them up at tax time. It did ask me if I wanted to deduct some escrow that I paid in advance with this year's refinancing but then didn't take me to a place where I could do that, but I'll just claim the entire amount of my property tax bill next year so it wasn't a big deal.
What's great about it: We file jointly as a married couple who own one home. We've dropped our accountant for Turbo-Tax!
What's not so great: It asked me if I had some additional things to claim with a refinance but didn't give me a place to claim them.

Taxes Turbocharged

I've been using TurboTax for about 10 years and it has made filing taxes painless. I like how it shows your refund or dues as you are making changes; this really helps me understand how taxes are determined. I wish I could see a summary of my income, deductions, taxes paid, etc. on one screen instead of having to go to the "Print/Save for Your Records" menu to get a summary.
What's great about it: I finished my taxes in under 10 minutes!
What's not so great: I wish I could see a summary screen of my taxes instead of having to save/print to pdf the record first.

Very easy

I have used TT for many years and rely on it. It is an easy yet thorough system that just about anyone can use.
What's great about it: loaded all my prior year information, easy to understand
What's not so great: not a big fan of it's deductible. hard to find some items
