AR refused my efile because my fed was rejected. The cause for all this was your fault, you didn't say to use last years Pin Number. The efile works well but the mail file doesin't, there isn't an auto help for printing required forms you are left to fig it out.
You need to fix this error
What's not so great: State Mail Forms

Had a problem and wasn't able to find answers on-line or in the help section. I called up the live chat and then the tax professional called me and we were able to resolve the issue. Very happy and relieved to have gotten the help I needed from a live person.
What's great about it: I like the money I save doing taxes myself.
What's not so great: If you have some tricky stuff going on with your finances, TT can be a bit confusing.

TurboTax is a great program. I have used it since the DOS days.
What's great about it: Ease of completing and filing return plus ability to transfer data from one yera to the next.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have a return that is probably more complicated than the average filer... two businesses, capital gains and losses, retirement income, and an IRA conversion. Turbotax handled most of this well. However, there were odd messages that didn't make sense or should have been obvious to Turbotax.
1) Although I was due a state refund of $540, it told me that I had an underpayment of $20. 2) It congratulated me on not owing any taxes when I rolled two traditional IRAs into a Roth IRA, when I did owe taxes. But it did include this properly in the forms. 3) During error-checking it kept insisting that I provide additional information for my 1099-G even though I did not have a 1099-G. I had to delete the form. 4) During error-checking, it insisted on my filling in information that should have been gleaned from my previously entered 1099 forms. Usually, this was to fill in the value $0 when the reported 1099 had left a box blank.
All-in-all, Turbotax Deluxe provide a good service for creating and filing tax forms, but there are some things that require a bit of hand-checking and research that the typical filer might find confusing and daunting. I don't think that any of the messages or mistakes were so critical that they would created problems or inaccuracies with the amount due or the IRS, but they were certainly confusing, and sometimes scary.
What's great about it: Fast, accurate, covers 99% of most filers
What's not so great: Some odd, unexplained messages. Doesn't fill in obvious blanks.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using T-Tax for years and every time I do I have to re-enter my date more than once to get the correct results...either I hit a wrong button or didn't understand the instructions in HELP block....You just have to make it more simpler for people who just file 1040's with Standard Deductions..You ask too many complicated questions for such a simple return...
Also you should provide easier printing instructions...if a person doesn't have Adobe Reader they can't print your returns...you don't say that....all you say is save as PDF file. A non computer savy person would get confused on how to print their returns especially when you provide a PRINT YOUR Return Icon and it:s worthless for printing
What's great about it: Not Much,,,just adequate
What's not so great: Complicated questions w/none help in the HELP Block
