Stocks stink

It was a little confusing for a first timer with a stock sale.
What's great about it: regular stuff easy

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I highly recommend it! For me it is clear and easy to move around in. Sometimes as I prepare my taxes I find more information and have to update and Turbo Tax is easy to go back and change information and see what the result is. Then I can decide if it is worth it to go on a hunt for more information or let it go. I also find the short explanations along the way very useful in decision making as I move through the return. One thing I really like is the meter at the top which keeps me informed as to my refund situation. This is very helpful.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is very thorough and Easy to Uncerstand

Another Great Experience with Turbo Tax!

i HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR MANY YEARS AND IT IS COMPREHENSIVE AND SO EASY TO USE! I HAVE UPGRADED A FEW TIMES WHEN I HAD SOME MORE COMPLEX TRANSACTIONS IN THE YEAR, BUT MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE EACH AND EVERY YEAR HAS BEEN EXCEPTIONAL!
e-FILING IS A GREAT ADDITION THE PAST FEW YEARS AS WELL AND THE OPTIONS TO PRINT AND SAVE FOR FUTURE NEEDS CLEARLY SHOWS THE PEOPLE AT TURBO TAX KNOW WHAT THE INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYER IS ABOUT.
What's great about it: Walks you through the whole process
What's not so great: None!!

Gets better year after year.

TurboTax remains the pinnacle of tax filing software for the masses. There's still room left to improve, as with anything, but I always know I'm in good hands for my return. Thanks!
What's great about it: Great detail for deductions
What's not so great: Murky descriptions for state sections. Need to expand help for these areas.

Always Dependable

I have used Turbo tax when a single renter, to a house purchase, to adopting internationally to refinancing my house and with a little bit of reading, i have always found the advice I needed to complete my return. I feel very confident in turbo tax and even recommended it to my 70 yr old mother who was paying an accountant way too much. We are now going to use Turbo Tax to help her figure out losses from Hurricane Sandy and impact on taxes. This will be the true test.
What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax for 15+ years through different life situations and I have never been steered wrong.
What's not so great: I have not found anything yet

Easy Filing

Turbo tax makes it easier to do your taxes even if you are not an accountant or if you are not familiar with the tax laws.
What's great about it: I like the guidence given.
What's not so great: The cost could be less expensive.

I have been using turbotax for years and have researched other programs. I wouldn't change to another program ever. I love this program for ease of use and thoroughness.
