Found finding similar questions to the one I had somewhat confusing and non-responsive.
I was required to pay 2009 State Taxes in 2012. The enire section to report this additional State tax paid was difficult to follow with little information to expalin what, where or why.

Great for US!

I've been using this software for several years. It's gotten better each year. Love how it compares my last year return to my current one. It helps me to include all the deductions that I'm allowed. Fast, easy, and a pleasure to work through.
What's great about it: Very Detailed, helps to see last year information to make sure I don't forget any deductions
What's not so great: Nothing to dislike

Simple and Very Easy

I decided to use TurboTax for filing this year. It was the first time using this program. So easy a 5 year old could do it! (figuratively speaking of course). Thanks TurboTax for making filing taxes painless.
What's great about it: Step by Step instructions
What's not so great: None!
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

So simple to use, I actually kept going back and forth checking to see if I was making any errors or not. Utilized this product for years, and it just keeps getting better for filing.

Fast Easy

I've been using Turbo Tax for years to complete my taxes. It's as easy as can be, doesn't take too long and I feel confident I'm getting the most out of my return.
What's great about it: Super easy, quick to complete, guides you through EVERYTHING
What's not so great: some questions need to be reread multiple times to ensure your understanding

I have used Turbo Tax and I have always been pleased with the ease of doing my own taxes. Step by step instructions and would only like to see a video snippet of answers on questions that are confusing
