Makes tax prep palatable

Will continue to use the software but I hope the reports that Intuit is lobbying to keep the tax code complicated are untrue. I would hope the company would be more pro consumer.

I love using Turbo Tax!

I really like Turbo Tax. I have used it for at lease 4 years and have always been pleased. It has really improved over the years, explaining and guiding you better each year. The only thing I don't like is having to pay to transmit state returns. Other than that, it's great!
What's great about it: I love how turbo tax guides me through each topic.
What's not so great: None.

Wanting more

Did my taxes in February but when reopening them on the 15th of April the file was corrupted. I had opened it several times over the months with no problem but when I opened it this time and it said do you want to check for updates I selected yes it came back with an error code 146. I tried opening my past files from years gone by and now they all have an error. I had to re-enter all of the information which took another 6 hours.

Love Turbo Tax

I have always done the taxes for my husband and I and now our kids. Using Turbo Tax is MUCH easier than the pencil and paper I used to do!
What's great about it: software is user friendly, allows multiple returns-helps with children taxes
What's not so great: sometimes a little unclear on how to answer but considering dealing with government reg's, probably as simple as possibl

Taxes done with confidence

I have been using TurboTax for 18 years and will continue to do so. It covers all the bases for my filing and I have a level of comfort in sending my taxes. All forms are available and it is easy to use.
What's great about it: Covers all the bases
What's not so great: Did not directly address my family support question

I am a professional tax preparer and have used your program for years. I recommend it to everyone, as it is easy to follow the step by step when you don't understand tax law.
What's great about it: I love the fact that I can move from forms to step by step, as necessary.
What's not so great: splitting a K-1 with income in box 1 and box 3 doesn't work very well
