Turbo Tax every year!

You get what you pay for. I trust Turbo Tax but if I ever get audited I will definitely have second thoughts the next year.
What's great about it: Simple and thorough

Love doing my taxes on my own. Thought it was going to be tougher but turbotax made it easy!
What's great about it: simple. easy. smooth.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Filing

I really like using Turbo Tax. It pulls in my data from the previous year and all I have to to is add the new data at the prompts. So easy....
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use, especially if you use it every year
What's not so great: Have to scroll to bottom of page each time you go back to the page showing what you've completed

Overall a good experience, but when trying to go back and find and correct incorrect information which I had entered it was very frustrating. Apart from that Turbo Tax made doing my taxes as painless as possible.
What's great about it: Step by step pathway very helpful.
What's not so great: Difficult to correct information in a second pass. Hard to find.

its a very good system and the "paint by numbers" approach is just what most normal people need to complete they're returns with confidence.
What's great about it: very easy and detailed instructions on completing of tax returns.
What's not so great: cons are hard to come by.

Have used TurboTax for at least 10 years

I have used TurboTax since they acquired Parsons Technology. I have never had one problem with this package. Follow the program. Answer the questions and in a very short time the Fed and state forms are ready to transmit. I can do this faster then taking the information to one of the professional services. One feature I would like to see is a TurboTax package I could purchase say in early January that would allow me to enter information say once a month and have an estimate of the taxes. Then I might be able to make adjustments during the tax year to come closer to zero due or refund.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Imports information from last year. Makes records keeping much easier
What's not so great: Have yet to find any ugly issues. Each year the program gets better and better

My TurboTax experience 2012

TurboTax has covered all new tax laws where applicable and continues to work with ease of accessibility, page to page clear worksheets, and speed of calculations and inputs for errors. I have been a user for many years and they continue to be #1 for confidence.
What's great about it: Ease of use and trust in software
