I've used tax preparation software for years, starting with MacinTax, and have always found it very convenient. I will most likely use TurboTax, because I've always felt comfortable with the feel.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, access help
What's not so great: Paying for state filing

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It is easy and accurate. They know how to get you the refund that you are allowed to get.

Easy and friendly. I would like to see a list of items I should keep records on for next years tax returns. For example, energy credits for installing windows, water heaters, etc. this way when i purchase the item(s) i know to keep the record in a safe place for use when filing my taxes.

Simple enough to wait til the last day

i slacked off on doing my taxes until the 15th. i had purchased it months ago, but just now got around to installing it. since i had all my documents in order, it only took a few hours and viola! taxes are done.
What's great about it: quick and easy to use
What's not so great: state filing should be included in price
