Turbo Tax rules!

I used to dread tax day. It was a day filled with frustration, anxiety and uncertainty, especially after the one year we used a tax preparation service and got audited and owed $2000.00 more than was calculated for us.
Turbo Tax changed all that. After using this program for 10 years I can only say that it gets better and better every year. I certainly don't rush through the program but it seems it takes me less time year after year. April 15th is now a day I dont dread. I will never have my taxes done any other way. Turbo Tax ROCKS!!!
What's great about it: ease of use, thoroughness
What's not so great: nothing....it's perfect yet manages to get better every year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

CONS.......MORE WARNINGS REGARDING ALLOWED DEDUCTIONS.....
CASE IN POINT.....ONE WOULD ASSUME MOST INDIVIDUALS ARE DOING THEIR OWN TAXES IF THEY PURCHASED (ONLINE OR CD) TURBO TAX SOFTWARE....
HOWEVER, TURBO TAX ALLOWS YOU TO DEDUCT UP TO $150 FOR TAX PREP FEES.........THIS MAKES NO SENSE FOR SOFTWARE VERSIONS NOT AIMED AT

Highest Refund Yet!

This year Turbo Tax helped me to itemize deductions I may not have even thought of on my own and got me the largest refund yet. E-filing is quick and easy--no more hurried trips to the post office to file on time! I've been using Turbo Tax for several years now and it has always been easy to use and well worth the cost of the software.
What's great about it: Extremely easy step-by-step filing
What's not so great: The state e-file costs extra and you don't find out until right before you file.

Easy and Fun to use

Turbo Tax has made it easy to teach my kids how to file their taxes. The step by step instructions and easy to use FAQ make the product even better. Being remarried with shared deductions was scary until I started to use Turbo tax. I understand much better how to adjust my taxes each year and what I can do to save more of my money. Turbo tax walked me through my inheritance and made that much less stressful. I have been using Turbo Tax since 1998 and I just love it. Thank you for making a product that is useful and easy to use.
What's great about it: Step by Step instruction make it easy to use. FAQ is superb.
What's not so great: I still have to pay taxes.

Self Filing Made Easy

I used to self-file by going to the library and pulling the forms and schedules I needed to get ready for tax day. It was time consuming to find the correct form and then decide if it applied to me. I tried TurboTax the first time about 7 years ago and haven't wanted to go back to paper filing since.
p.s. This box should not red line TurboTax ;)
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions, good explanations
