I have used Turbo Tax for the past 5 years. So much easier when I had to do all of it by myself!
What's great about it: Easy and thorough.
What's not so great: It took a loooong time to down load the software to get started.

Turbo Tax is easy to use and comprehensive It walked me through the full process, loaded my information from the previous year, and addressed all relevant topics. Took a reasonable amount of time to complete, and provided links on any topics which I needed additional information.
What's great about it: Ease of use, including loading prior year information, and thorough review of all applicable areas
What's not so great: Clarity of information regarding home refinancing

Very Good but could be improved

There are features that I find confusing. I am a CPA and while not a tax practioner I understand my way around the tax forms. I find particularly confusing the completion of the form 1116 for foreign taxes paid. It is hard to tell where you are in the process and if you have multiple countries to list I could not get it done correctly.
The stock sales for schedule D is confusing with asking whether the stock company reported the sale. It should ask if the stock company reported the cost basis, they all report the proceeds.
Lastly, I found it hard to print the file. My printer always gave me the error that it did not have enough memory. This is the fist year this happened.
That said I have used the product for well over 15 years and recommend it to anyone who will listen.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Find some technical issues, need to know tax code to know it is handling things wrong.

Always neat and clean

I have been using this application for a few years now. Although I think my returns are not complicated some case scenario of common household approches for each section would clarify the subject matter and spern my research.
What's great about it: The ease of the UI and always showing an alternative option.
What's not so great: Matbe some case studies for common households.

Saved time filling out forms for me.

Makes doing income tax much easier..You plug in information from forms and they do the calculations for you.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: didn't catch omition of sales tax deduction in error check last year

I understand that taxes are confusing but the instructions should be worded in a way that those using turbotax do not have to look up what things mean
What's great about it: asks about the various potential deductions, audit risk indictator
What's not so great: the verbiage is confusing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for many years! It is easy to follow, there's LOTS of help if you need it. I love watching the refund or what I owe change as I add more data.
I recommend Turbo Tax to everyone. I don't know why everyone doesn't use it.
