What's great about it: Good Coaching; Faster Process Than Ever; Prepare & File In 1 Day!
What's not so great: Help Screen Now Has Fine Print; Hard On Baby Boomer Eyes!

2012 Taxes

Really like using TurboTax, but it seems as if it is being "dummied down" too much. I really do like being able to click & view.
What's great about it: Quick & easy
What's not so great: Couldn't quickly see forms. Used to be able to click on box & immediately go to view breakdown.

Turbo Tax is very simple and easy to use. Makes complicated tax laws easy to understand. I would recommend to anyone.
What's great about it: The tips and help sections make it easy to understand tax deductions
What's not so great: No real complaints

Seemed easy enough to do my 17 year old sons return. Not sure if I'd attempt mine and my husbands joint return. For now, leaving that in the hands of a PRO.
What's great about it: Easy for basic filing
What's not so great: not sure if it's for complicated returns

Allowed me to view my options

I have a financial degree so when I do my taxes, I come with a bit of knowledge, but I certainly don't know everything. TurboTax gives me options and allows me to use my experience to complete our taxes but also updates me on anything new and points out issues I didn't recognize. It is awesome!
What's great about it: easy to use, gave me options

easy taxes

been using Turbo TAX for over ten years and like the way it guides me though my return. HArdest part is collecting all th e information before starting the return
What's great about it: carry over from last year and download from Quicken and W-2 sites
What's not so great: slow to boot up

I have been using Turbo Tax for years to file my taxes. It is an easy walk through program that helps you get your best refund/tax senario for your own particular case. I really like the tax review and the ways to calculate predictions for the next tax year. You are able to see how to save for retirement and how that will effect your tax situations.
What's great about it: Easy walk thru each catagory
What's not so great: Can be slightly confusing, requires careful reading of each section
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy but long

I may use it again, but I do not believe the amount was correct. There should have been more help options.

What's not so great: Too long and needs more help options
