I really like seeing numbers from last year for each line so I can compare with figures form this year. It would be even better if the last three or four years were visible. Also, considering the significance of the changes due to the Affordable Care Act, I would like a little more explaination on these items.
What's great about it: liked the side by side with figures from last year
What's not so great: would like more supporting info on ACA changes

Simple - easy

Have used this program for 4 years now. past years files load quickly and saves a lot of time. Very thorough with the questions. Good at explaining details when prompted.
What's great about it: Simple- loaded easy - explained every step

Takes the Guess Work out of doing your taxes

I have used Turbo tax for the last 5 years. I have tried some online programs that seem to get the same results, but they are very difficult to navigate.
Turbo tax helps me feel confident that I am doing my return right. I like that by buying one copy of the software I can do returns for everyone in my household.
I love being able to efile free right from the program
I am really glad it has the state return built in because I wouldn't have a clue how to do it.
The phone support is awesome! I spent 8 hours searching online for a question about reporting foreign income and how to take deductions. I finally called phone support and they got me the answer within 20 minutes. It was so nice to feel confident that my return was filed correctly.

Turbo Tax ForEver

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and will never attempt to do my taxes using Federal and State paper forms. I believe for the cost of the Turbo Tax disc that my returns are prepared as well as if I hired a CPA. Tax authorities have never questioned my finished returns.
What's great about it: Questions that cover all of my needed information
What's not so great: Section for standard car mileage is complicated with too much detail

Even easier this year

I loved being able to import my W-2's and, by using It's Deductible, my charitable contributions. It definitely took less time this year.
What's great about it: It's Deductible made contributions listing so easy; importing W-2 makes everything a breeze
What's not so great: like being able to skip to only those parts I need without having to "continue" through everything
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used turbo tax for a number of years now and more than likely will continue.. what I missed was an opportunity to review upcoming changes -- I actually have a need for that this year -- since I got such a huge dividend it threw me into another tax bracket... nickname totally annoying
What's great about it: still a great way to do taxes
What's not so great: some areas were difficult to get out of if I made an incorrect selection

Show Me the Money!!

I really like using Turbo Tax. It uses an easy step by step process. The system checks, and rechecks for deductions. I do think the price is steep, but still cheaper than an CPA! I feel like I have always received maximum refunds using TurboTax!!
What's great about it: Simple, easy and allows you to import last years tax information.
What's not so great: The price is a little steep.
