I stress every year about doing taxes. Well, decided to give Turbotax a try and boy am I glad I did! It was quick & easy step by step instructions. Took the stress of doing taxes away. Will definitely being using them again in the future.
What's great about it: Quick & Easy

TurboTax saves the day!!!!

My dad saves 20% more using Turbotax than with a CPA. I've used it the last 2 years and have been amazed by the savings and the things my previous tax preparer has missed! Also having the audit protection gives me and my family the peace of mind in case of a mistake.

It was so easy

Even though I waited until the last day I didn't worry because I knew that doing my taxes would be easy and it was. All I had to do was gather all my paper work and type in the information. It was great!
What's great about it: It was so easy to complete my refund. I love working with TurboTax.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The logical way to file

Overall this is a quick and nearly painless way to do your taxes. You need a general knowledge of what you are doing but you dont need to be a CPA. Most of the fear of dealing with the IRS is removed because the information is clear. A real person explanation rather then just IRS information would be helpfull.
What's great about it: guides you as much as you need but not more
What's not so great: needs an explanation of information not just the information from IRS

I really like the improvements TurboTax makes each year. I can rest assured that my taxes are done correctly and I get the highest return possible! TurboTax is a great partner!
What's great about it: Great search feature for looking up forms I hadn't filed before!
What's not so great: Nothing!

Quickly Done

A few areas of the program could be explained a little better but my main concern was areas that could easily be populated with information already gathered...namely the direct deposit information on my state refund was to the same account as my payment on my federal return.
What's great about it: Quickly covered each area with hints when things were incorrect
