Easy as Pie ~

I like to do things on my own time schedule and with such ease I was able to thanks to the enhanced Turbo Tax program. Each year it gets easier to file and it's very comprehensive asking easy to answer and understand questions. The pop up windows of explanations were my favorite tool to use throughout the process. Federal and state taxes filed so easily, why use anyone else. Thanks Turbo Tax -- keep up the great work! - MarianneR
What's great about it: It's quick, easy to follow and you can work on your return at your own convenience -- simply the way to file
What's not so great: Wasn't sure at first if my inputed data was saved and were to save as I went along

Good despite owing

The ease of the Q&A process makes the daunting task of filing taxes at least a bit easier.
What's great about it: Easy walk through process
What's not so great: Not easy to switch filing status to see alternate results without deleting some partial info and then having to fix it

Year after year, turbo tax is the way to go.
What's great about it: Very easy!
What's not so great: Had some trouble paying by credit card for my state e-filing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Efficient and no nonsense approach to taxes
What's not so great: A little confusing when in comes to the review - forms popped up that I did not generate or need

Great for procrastinators

We had a little trouble downloading the state return this year. Not sure if it was a problem with Turbotax though because we had some issues connecting to the internet and staying connected. I love that I was still able to fill in the federal forms while offline. Just wish I could've done the same with the state return. Thanks again for a great product!!!
What's great about it: Love how easy it is! And how it takes you thru step by step.
What's not so great: Entering all the deduction information, just to find out I do better with the standard deduction

I found that some of the questions, etc were confusing. My husband has a retirement, but it kept thinking it was an RMD - NOT. It found errors such as a zip code problem - that really wasn't a problem. I've used Turbo Tax for years, but this year I was disappointed. Especially after I bought it then found that it wouldn't run on my computer!
What's not so great: System Requirements were NOT listed on the package

This is my fifth year in a row that I use Quicken. It makes filing my taxes pretty painless. It is pretty easy.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: User interface changes a little to much year to year
