Awesome Program

i have used TurboTax for three years and truly love this program! Questions are answered easily. This is a very straight forward, user friendly program to do your taxes. I highly recommend it to everyone!
What's great about it: STRAIGHT , FORWARD & VERY USER FRIENDLY

Uncle Sam Hates Turbo Tax! 'coz it max out your$!

Very accurate, very sensitive and its so clear and easy. Like a story-telling for kids!
What's great about it: Very accurate and sees all options for you
What's not so great: I cant see any Cons!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I'm sold on TurboTax. I switched to another tax prep software one year (TaxCut, unless you don't want their name here), and it wasn't as smooth as TurboTax. I won't be making that change again. TurboTax all the way, baby!

it screws up the estimated tax payments but works

TT had troubles with next years estimated tax payments. The first time it had me paying roughly 30% of our total combined income in taxes even after deductions and exemptions. There is a work around but why do I have to know more than the tax program? I am a pastor and so am self employed for social security and an employee for income tax. While this a rare condition, it has been that way for many years now and I still have to bump TT to get it to recognize that the differences of income are not cumulative. I will never see the total income it was having me pay estimated taxes on. They only way I can tell it is doing it wrong is to get an estimate by doing it the long paper way and doesn't that remove much of the joy of having an expensive computer tax program? Still I keep using it. At least it doesn't make math errors and its priting is clean :)
What's great about it: excellent interview process
What's not so great: confusion around housing exclusion vs housing allowance and SE SS payments to the total tax bill.

Love Doing My Taxes on my time

I love being able to do my taxes at my conveinience and being able to have confidence that they are done correctly. Thank you for a great product.
What's great about it: I really like having the freedom to work on my taxes whatever time of day works for me
What's not so great: It was a little harder to figure out my State taxes
