I have been using TurboTax as long as I can remember. It is always so simple, I can complete an itemized return in no time at all.

Most helpful was being able to do a search for the documents I had but didn't know where to put the info. The search would take me to the place I had to input the information

I have used TurboTax for many years now, and have been very satisfied overall, and happy with my refunds.
The problem above in "Cons" was a State worksheet flagged in the review, regarding last year's state refund, where a box near the upper left needed my state indicated, but it was not, and was not highlighted either. the highlight appeared elsewhere, and seemed to make no sense, so it took me some time to analyze the problem. It seems to me the state box ought to have been automatically filled in.
I feel the e-file fee for the state return is rather high, considering what a highly automated process this is.
Suggestion: Using the Easy Step, when returning to an item to make an addition or correction, a quick return to where I left off would be nice. When doing this I had to repeat my steps to the end of the subject.
Otherwise, I give you high marks for an excellent product that makes a complicated task easy enough for a non-pro to do quite well.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Step by step process is easy to understand
What's not so great: I had one correction to make on a worksheet, and what needed fixing was not clear.

It's so easy to just answer questions and they fill out all the forms you need.
What's great about it: Makes filing easy and understandable.
What's not so great: I think we should get to e-file state for free.

I've been using TurboTax for at least 8 years. I keep coming back to TurboTax. The program takes many headaches out of filing, and has always helped me to understand what I have to do to file my increasingly complicated returns.
What's great about it: explanations gave me the info I needed in terms that I understood
What's not so great: sometimes the "imports" didn't import
