Easy To Use !

The software takes you through the process in a very painless and understandable method. If there is something you don't understand you can easily review it again, ask for help or go to the form itself to see how it's laid out. As long as you have your tax information ready its just a matter of entering the data. I am the classic, last minute procrastinator and I'm saying that this is a great way to do your basic taxes.
What's great about it: It leads me through the entire process. Very easy.

I filed late once more and took the plunge with TurboTax. Not to say the less, it was so simple and easy. Now I'm not encouraging to wait till the last minute, but this was a life saver. No lines to wait, can be done from home in less than an hour and did not have to travel, find parking, buy stamps or look for forms. A must have in doing your own taxes!
What's great about it: User Friendly, took all the guess work out
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good but how about those deductions...

I have used this product for a number of years now. I keep using it so I don't have to learn a new interface/interrogation. The challenge I have is that you can't just jump back in to add in deductions easily or quickly. you have to go through the entire interrogatory just to add another 50 miles that you discovered or another meal. For me the meat of this tax software should make it easier for users to get to deductions and update them.
What's great about it: Pretty good interface. Pretty thorough
What's not so great: Can't get to deductions easily

Overall a good steady product that is a little better and easier year by year. I found the Error Check to be accurate, but difficult to navigate back to the pages in which I entered the data. In one case I found my erro on a form, but TuboTax did not let me edit within that form, and it did not link back to the EasyStep page. It took an hour of searching to find the page to correct.
What's great about it: Familiar format. The e-filing process is either getting more efficient each year, or more familiar to me with each filin
What's not so great: The error check did not specify which form or EasyStep page each error was on; I had to search that out myself.
