Pains less with Turbo

This is the second year in a row I used Turbo Tax. I appreciate the quickness and ease of completing my taxes (even though I owed) and it's simplicity.
I like the fact that Turbo tax can recall the previous year's information and insert it into the newest forms.

What's great about it: Quick and easy. Little confusion.
What's not so great: State filing ought to be included in the price of the State income tax filing.

When you go back to insert a amount you may have left out, you need to re-answer questions that you had already answered the first time around.

Turbo Tax proved to be well worth the price. Not only did it prompt you to look at the possible deductions available; it made suggestions for next year's taxes.

Excellent product, use it two years consecutively and the real benefits become apparent.
What's great about it: Much easier to move from forms to interview.
What's not so great: Needs more optional links to explanations.

Much larger return than expected, it found all the hidden things I would have missed.
What's great about it: Easy found all sorts of credits

Easy to use

The product is user friendly, however many times there is only one question at a time when some questions could be grouped in the same screen and thus one would be able to finish quicker.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Too many screens, questions related to one item should all be in the same screen

Quick as a wink!

Did our taxes in only one sitting. Faster than ever before. Did have a little difficulty with the K-1 schedule in that it kept wanted to do the business taxes too (done separately since my husband is considered an employee of his business). Got it figured in the end though. Anytime I searched for something, it snapped right to that part of the taxes & made me repeat things at times. Sometimes I just wanted info. rather than taken to it. All in all, I love Turbo Tax for its price, ease, & have used it consistently for at least a decade. Thanks.
What's great about it: Super fast!
What's not so great: Snaps to a topic that is searched rather than telling you about it first
