Turbo Tax is so easy to use!

Glad this software is out there! Much prefer doing this deed myself. Don't like making appointments and paying someone big/bigger bucks to get the job done. Pretty painless, quite thorough, end result is a PDF of what I submitted online to state and federal. I recommend others give it a try!
What's great about it: Thorough, detailed, user friendly
What's not so great: can't think of any cons
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax Gets Better Every Year

Turbo TAx Deluxe meets my needs and I am confident in using it. It is accurate, up-to-date and comprehenisve, so I am assured of getting the best refund for my situation. Any questions I have are answered or explained in the product and on one occasion this year -- on April 15th no less -- I required and received help in the form of a chat, followed by a telephone call. The Turbo Tax consultant was patient and clear and concise in her explanation (Carolyn, INTUIT Case #405579527# and quite helpful too.

The only "con" I found ws in proceeding to do something new: filing in a situation where I work in two states and live in one. I was not aware of the tax reciprocity agreement between my resident state and the non-resident state, so I downloaded my free state return for the non-resident state #as Turbo Tax advises), then paid for my second state return for my resident state reporting. This was not necessary and I learned of it only AFTER I had [aid for and downloaded the seconfd state return. Thanks to Carolyn, all is well now, but had I been alerted to this possibility beforehand, it could have save both me and Turbo Tax some time and effort.
Overall, I think my Turbo Tax experience is outstanding and I do recommend it to family, friends and neighbors. Thank you! :)
What's great about it: Comprehensive, thorough with clarity of instruction and explanation
What's not so great: One misplaced tip, in my opinion, regarding add'l state reporting

Got er done

I had CPA do my taxes last year, the first time in years due to an event that I was not sure how to handle. So this year when I came back to TurboTax I had to enter all of my stuff again, multiple employers, etc. Never again... Turbo Tax thank you...
What's great about it: on time, home office, head of household
What's not so great: had to find last year's return

I love Turbo Tax. I've used the program for years and years, and it keeps improving.
It's easy to access forms to review in detail what you've input, and check for errors. And the entire experience is wonderful.
