Not As User Friendly As Before

I've had this product for years. It was always easiest around. It is not any more. You are badgered to buy additional related products. The its Deductible! is still a great tool. I have not tried any of the other software products but I feel let down by these latest several years. I also feel less confident about my taxes being done correctly.
What's great about it: efiling was easy
What's not so great: much of the rest is more difficult & constant badgering about buying more

This is the first time I did the tax returns from start to finish. It only took a few hours spread over 3 nights. So easy when the program keeps your information stored on your computer.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax did all the real work and found me the most money
What's not so great: Took a while to load

Fast and Easy

Great product. Got my tax done much quicker than if I were to file out the forms and calculate the numbers by hand.
What's great about it: Easy, no calculations needed by user
What's not so great: hard to get answer if need help or if not familiar with tax rules

Turbo Tax is great!

TurboTax is my choice for preparing tax returns for ease of filing, constant reminder of amount of return or amount owed, ease of importing financial data from investments, and more!
What's great about it: Transferring info from previous year's return; importing capability from investment firm; constant tabulation refund
What's not so great: adding info needed prior to filing; purchasing product cheaper at retail stores
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Rockin' Refund!

Very easy to enter information into menu driven screens. Very easy to import personal information from previous year and get started. Error check quick and easy. All in all, very fast entry and transmittal to the IRS. I can't wait to get my rockin' refund!
What's great about it: easy, quick menu driven screens
What's not so great: solicitation for extra services
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Sale of stocks handled perfectly after download

Last year was the first year that several of my supporting details worksheets were not available for printout. This oversight continues in 2012. I tried several methods to get the several supporting details to printout but was unsuccessful. I use turbo tax just for the ability to document all entry cells for future reference. A printout of all supporting details are required in my opinion and this needs to be fixed last year!
What's great about it: Worked just 2011
What's not so great: Not all supporting details are available for printout.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
