2012 Tax Review

Not sure about education credits - how many yrs claimed & how it effected outcome or audit. Due to unsure-ness, more likely to claim less & be wrong, instead of claiming otherwise and being mistaken.
Overall - was satisfied. Not TurboTax fault my computer records of prior years were lost.
What's great about it: Straight forward & simple to follow
What's not so great: Not sure about education credits - how many yrs claimed previously

Easy Breezy

I've used Turbo Tax for the pass 3 years. The new updates made it much easier to complete my return this year. The software uploaded most of the information from last years return. Which saved me lots of time since I waited until the last minute to do my taxes. Next year I will definately do my taxes earlier! Thanks Turbo Tax.

OMG!! Wow I can't believe I finished doing my taxes in no time at all. I got all my necessary paperwork and I can't believe it's done. I like the short questions and how easy it is to answer them. Where have you been? I could have been saving more money and not have to pay accountants.
What's great about it: I did it in no time.
What's not so great: nothing

I have enjoyed using this product for the past several years. I have no problems or complaints. I feel very accomplished doing my taxes on my own.
What's great about it: Walks you through input step by step.

frustrated with state

If I buy the product to help me file my taxes I shouldn't have to pay more to file state in addition to federal
What's great about it: federal was super easy
What's not so great: state was a pain and expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

There were some very odd items and some that I thought should be there, I could not find... like a couch with hide a bed.
What's great about it: Quick, precise
What's not so great: "It's Deductible" - Deductions are odd
