Good Refund

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2009 and found it to be the simplest to use.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

User Friendly

If you want to save money you need to use Turbo Tax..Very pricey to have other people prepare taxes today.I have been with Turbo Tax for the last six years or longer and have my children now preparing there taxes with there program..Its a no brainier and if you do it once you will return.
What's great about it: Detailed and precise for easy use.
What's not so great: none

Bad Year

This is the first year that I have had a multitude of problems with the product. Could not download the state form, had to shut down and re-open then it worked. Apparently the turbo folks knew they had a problem but couldn't fix it and still can't from what I read in the questions, took a custoomer to tell them. When I tried to print the forms the first time it locked up my computer so I had to shut down and then figure out how to get it to print, it didn't print from the command on the screen. Seems a lot a people are not satisfied with Turbo Tax this year though I have had no problems in the past. If these are signs of things to come from Turbo in future years another product might be advisable.
What's great about it: Math calculations
What's not so great: forms would not download, had to shut down and re-open for it to work.

OUTSTANDING AS ALWAYS

I've been a very happy customer for over 20 years now and you continue to impress me year after year. That's why I keep coming back. I don't know why anyone would use anything else. Keep up the good job.
What's great about it: Quick and simple
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Specific and Easy to follow

Directions were very specific. It takes you to each field and asks questions if it applies to you or not. It also makes recommendations, you can either look at the recommendations or skip it. I really loved the detailed information! I even tool my prior tax file and refund and compared it. It was a replica from my old tax file which is good because my situation have not changed, everything stayed the same and I saved $250 from going to my CPA.
What's great about it: Directions were very specific. You were taken to each field (if you prefer) and guides you and explains the information
What's not so great: Time consuming but it has option if you would like to skip or not

easy but expensive

WhileI found this program very easy to use, I will admit it is a little unsettling that I'm spending over three times as much to use this program as I would forTaxACT and TaxACT is almost as easy
What's great about it: Very easy-to-use but I'm having a hard time saving my tax forms to my computer without the use of the program

Great product contiues to deliver what I need!

Excellent product that does everything I need it to do.
What's great about it: Well designed, updates are painless, flow is efficient and quick
What's not so great: Having to re-buy the SW each year. Maybe a "loyalty price" or subscription netting SW updates @ 50% the cost annually?
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for about 10 years. I will continue to use them. I love that the program gets info from my past forms and uses that to simplify the current year. I love that it thinks of different things I might need to file and lets me decide if it is applicable to me. I do wish I could talk to a real person some times, especially when I have searched the topics listed and don't get a clear "to me" answer.
What's great about it: It thinks of everything I might need.
What's not so great: I would like to ask a real person a question.
