It was very easy to follow which made it not as intimidation to do my own taxes. I don't have too many deductions or anything so paying someone to do them is not economical. Turbo Tax made it very easy to do myself.

Surprising easy to file this year despite a much more complicated return.
What's great about it: Easy to use - Step-by-Step just as the packaging promised.
What's not so great: Wish the software would autosave when done.

Makes it simple to prepare your taxes, Provides a comprehensive print package for your tax records. It gives you the option to enter data via Interview or Manual. However, the interface and features have not been updated in a while. So Manual entry, like I prefer, requires more work than optimal. Although only a few (6?), ads are incorporated into many of the step-by-step processes. For the price customers pay, this is PLAIN WRONG!
What's great about it: Simple preparation of taxes with good documentation and record keeping
What's not so great: Hasn't seen a major upgrade in a while

Overall very easy to use and understand. Been using for 8 years now and it does get easier to use and understand every year. Would have no problem recommending it to anyone.

We've used TurboTax for more than 5 years, after having our returns previously completed by a tax professional. The program has always been quick and easy to understand.
