Sorry but very very complicated

I had to pay, and pay big time. There was no help with doing a married filing separate time. Not much info, on why it comes up with the totals its does.. like from table, calcs based upon ?, But the forms work, the efile is good,, at least so far, and good . Stops too much along the way asking to buy this or that. Should not happen when I pay this extra money for the deluxe version. Ask all that in signing in. Thanks.
What's great about it: Not as bad as hand copy. Asks fairly good questions, more for simple returns
What's not so great: Can't easily go back to where in the form is the $ amount,, Use to be able to do that with

Turbo Tax

I've use this software for four years now and I can't explain how user friendly Turbo Tax is. I have the choice to do some of the work myself or let Turbo Tax do the work for me.
The correctness guarantee is also a feature that lets me feel comfortable with the return that ultimately gets transmitted.

Used for 20 years. The 2012 version is worst ever.
Could not e-file same data as lst year when I COULD E-FILE.

What's great about it: like that it asks questions
What's not so great: was confused on SSA disability
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My Refund Buddy!

Love the ease of use, zoomifno boxes, etc. With today's technology there is no reason why TT can't provide access to the (at least) the purchased state's tax publications for reference and help.
What's great about it: Cuts thru the clutter and walks thru the important stuff, step by step.
What's not so great: It would be nice to see STATE publications via the online help.
