Easy and fast

Great product. I have used it for many years. This year you moved the averages section and it's hard to find.It's helpful to see how the majority of the users filed.
Only complaint is that if you stop in the middle and save you can't go back to that exact point again without going through the entire process.

Used money Counts until it was bought by TurboTax. Never had any problems. Especially like the direct downloads from Brokerage firms.
What's great about it: Always intuitive. Download of Stock Dividends,interest into program

It works

this is an easy way to do your taxes. it took me a couple of hours with no stress. it asks you for the info and you type it in. if you don't know if you have to add the info you read the guide and tells you if you qualify or need to get the correct form.
What's great about it: very easy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

1st bad experience after seven years

I got an error check failure - said I had foreign earned income (which I didn't) and wouldn't let me manually delete the 2555-t form. I finally had to go into the income section and fake out the form by putting in a negative number equal to my AGI, which then caused the program to finally delete the form itself. After this I was able to complete the efile. I must add that this is the first time I used the W-2 import function, and suspect it was something connected with this. Issues like this are not good for us procrastinators...
What's great about it: always very easy to enter my info
What's not so great: ran into an issue when trying to efile - had to cheat out the program

Quick and Easy

Overall, I think TurboTax is a great product. I've used it for several years now and have never been disappointed. I like to start using the guided option and then switch to the on my own option once I get most of the data entered and am doing review or edits.
What's great about it: Showing last years numbers next to 2012 data helped me know that I was on the right track.
What's not so great: It's Deductible was more difficult to find this year but I figured out it pops up with the guided option.
