I over the years have enjoyed the Turbo Tax software. It has provided me the comfort and ease of filing I have needed over the years to file myself. I enjoy not having to pay the other preparers the exaggerated amounts of money for filing that I know I am capable of doing myself.
What's great about it: the pros of turbo tax are the ease and step by step instruction with explanations.
What's not so great: The cons i always owe.

My first time using turbo tax w/help from my hubby

My husband has used Turbo Tax every year and we have just been married a year, so this is the first time I have helped to use it along with him for the first time. He swears by it but in the past I have used other types of programs. I really liked the fact that Turbo tax takes you over the possible deductions over and over again till you are sure and confident that you have looked at every possible way to save money before you continue on to print it. You make it fast and easy.
What's great about it: On going guidance for deductions and lists of suggestions for them
What's not so great: Some qualifying questions for deductions were confusing

I have used TurboTax for many years. Each year it gets a little better.
If you are low income look into the TurboTax Freedom version
What's great about it: Mostly easy to use.
What's not so great: Community Support is not very helpful. Not easy to get help.

Great Program!

My tax guy passed away late last year, so I was without someone to do my taxes. I thought, "It can't be that difficult", so I bought the Deluxe Edition of Turbo Tax and went to work. Doesn't take long, isn't painful at all, and eFiled my taxes within a couple hours time. Great program that I'll continue to use!
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step instruction
What's not so great: Nothing really....glad I bought it!

Made tax time easy.

I love using Turbo Tax it makes doing taxes easy, and worry free. It is easy enough any one should be able to follow the instructions and complete their taxes no matter what their sources of income are or what type of exemptions\deductions they may have.
What's great about it: Was easy to use found credits I didn't know were available.
What's not so great: Didn't motivate me enough to get my taxes done early.

I have used turbo tax for more than 10 years. I have viewed other programs and turbo tax offered more of what I needed more than the others. It is user friendly ! If you have never done taxes, you can file like a breeze with Turbo Tax.....Keep up the great work !!!!!
What's great about it: It allows you to save and exit, then come back later to finish.
What's not so great: Live chat available with purchase of any Turbo Tax software.

My taxes are unique in that I'm a minister. There are unique exemptions and deductions. It seems that the glitches were fixed so manual changing was not required. This is not always the case when working with tax preparers or other programs. It was also quick to complete. Loved it!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate; clear questions to answer; helpful suggestions; loads info from last year's taxes
What's not so great: All positive - no cons for me
