Accurate Tax Software

I like the product but hard to convince my family to give up Taxcut.
What's great about it: Detail, user friendly, professional
What's not so great: better if compare with previous 2 years. Somewhat is more complex and hard to follow than taxcut

Lots of taxes

I have been using turbo tax for more than ten years due to its ease. Last couple of years were not as friendly, however this year's experience was better and close to what it used to be.
What's great about it: Easy to look back and step by step guidance
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Never worry where you stand!

Turbo Tax is so easy to use. Most items need no explanation and thus you can simply answer the questions. Where there are more rules behind the scenes (like when you can take travel expenses at 100% vs 50%) you simply click on the link that provides more info and your quandry is solved.
You can use Turbo Tax to create a perfect, accurate return even if you know NOTHING about doing taxes!
What's great about it: At each step you know why you are being asked each question.
What's not so great: hmmmmm????

A Triple not a Home Run!

Why transfer information from previous returns and then give no way of reviewing it other than deleting the form from the form section. I didn't need 2555 this year, and told the normal easy form that I didn't have that deduction this year, but it did not delete the form. Didn't know until time to file. Very frustrating. Overall the product was very good.
What's great about it: Forms for the most part were easy to understand, walked me through the most difficult parts and no math.
What's not so great: Transferred information that was not required making it difficult to finalize.

Yay! We are done! EASY with Turbo Tax!

So easy this year...either TurboTax is getting so much easier to follow along or I'm getting smarter! I'm sure its TT!! Between Quicken and TurboTax we feel like our accounting and Tax go hand in hand and are so helpful. Thanks again Intuit!
What's great about it: easy to follow and Turbo Tax did almost all of it for me!

What a Time Saver

I used to do my taxes using a calculator and, if I itemized, it literally took me days to make sure everything was correct. It's sooooo much easier to use TurboTax since it copies relevant information from the previous year's forms, makes it easy to get clarifications and checks for errors I may not have discovered on my own.
What's great about it: Remembers information from previous submissions so you don't have to enter everything again

Easiest Tax Program Imaginable

I used to go to a professional tax person. But when life throws you a curve and you find yourself on your own some things must change. Money was tight so I decided to tackle my taxes on my own. I choose Turbo Tax Deluxe. I found it's step by step approach with thorough explanations relatively easy and without a doubt educational. It enlighten me to many deductions I wasn't even aware of which in-turned
allowed me to enlighten my fellow colleagues . It also gave me a much more realistic view on the value of donated items of which I terribly underestimated before discovering Turbo Tax. Most important Turbo Tax has given me peace of mind because I know received all the deductions and credits that were available to me which produced bigger refunds then I was getting from the professionals minus their payments.
