Mortgage Interest - Calculation for points spread over life of a loan works fine, but when you finish with a loan and click 'done' the loan summary page shows interest for year and total amount of points on loan resulting in inflated total.
Correct value is entered into Schedule A, but the first impression on seeing the summary page total is fear that the program is in error.

I've been doing my own taxes for 17 years with Turbo Tax. My favorites features are the quick walk through and the error review. I used the step by step methods so that I feel comfortable that I haven't missed anything. I usually wait until the last minute and it is wonderfully easy for those who need to finish quickly. The error check assures that any typos or small errors made will be corrected before filing. I love it!! I recommended it to my brother who wanted to try doing this taxes himself this year. Keep it up!!
What's great about it: Easy to under and quick
What's not so great: more pricythan other tax software
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall I have always had excellent results and zero problems with Turbo Tax. The only problem I had was trying to find and edit a deduction that was giving me errors. After I found where to look its was simple to edit and very straight forward to follow.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Kind of difficult to edit some information.

TurboTax Always Reliable

I have been using TurboTax for years with great, easy and accurate results. The program always reminds me of anythignI have missed and after using it once, each new year gets easier to complete with the comparisons from the previous year included.
What's great about it: Tips and Comments from other online taxpayers helped find deductions too
What's not so great: Option on Sales Tax deduction calculation to itemize major purchases

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years now. Obviously, very pleased with the results. I have purchased Basic, Deluxe and Business over the years based on my needs. This year was deluxe. Very easy to use and friendly. The software has been gettting better every year. I like not having to input info every year if circumstances do not change. I will not try other software unless the price increases, right now the cost is fair for what you get. Import from online banks, financial institutions and employers work well too. One of the cons is it is so easy, I have to do taxes for other family members!
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand!
What's not so great: Too Many Updates
