FAST !!!

Program loaded quicky and easily and kept me informed at the occassional slight delays. Extremely simple process that is mostly mouse clicks and only a small bit of typing. Has tremendous extra info i9f desired, but not forced when you know it doesn't apply. Let's you fly thru the works !!

2012 tax Exerience with turbotax

It was simple. only thing I had problem with is I paid for closing cost then decide to not get the loan from a particular bank and turbo tax would let me pass the error check, for the tax it for the bank, which I did not have, so had to fudge it, to pass the screen.
What's great about it: easy to file the tax, just need to collect the nessary documants,
What's not so great: If the bank does not provide the tax id, one has to fudge it.

turbo tax asks all the right questions and even sometimes gives the answer. the one time i lost money to the gov was when i forget to input my retirement check.
What's great about it: short and sweet
What's not so great: headach every time !!!

Easy Taxing Done

Overall, excellent.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and enter information.
What's not so great: To edit, occasionally must go back through several pages.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The step by step process makes it so easy

each field of entry should specify for whom we are entering the information. a reference of the person's name would be very helpful in making it VERY clear whether we are to enter information from me or my husband.
What's great about it: walked us through whether we shoudl file jointly or seperate
What's not so great: does not specifiy whether "you" was referring to me or my husband

Been using Turbo for a couple of years and like the way it works... easy to understand and promts with questions to help me jog my memory. The only down side is that i think the price could be cheaper.
