turbo tax e file

I have been using turbo tax for several years now, and I like the fact that it is pretty easy to use, but I had never e-filed before and so was not aware that I had to have a PIN number to file and had to call IRS to get one. But I do like the fact that you can use program multiple times and would recommend turbo tax and e-filing because you don't have to worry about printing and sending off through mail.
What's great about it: can use program multiple times
What's not so great: a bit of a hassle to get PIN numbers etc

I used Turbo Tax the last few years. I always have had issues getting old returns as well as getting charged another fee. I didn't pay that much the years before.
What's great about it: it was easy

My first experience was 2011 and it was so easy. So don't hesitate to use.

A Mixed Experience With TurboTax Deluxe for 2012

I am a loyal user of TurboTax. I noticed many improvements in the 2012 software. It seems that programmers took note of and anticipated changes and nuances. The embedded "It's Deductible" was of no help this year. The component was sluggish and did not allow the user to enter custom items, as had been permitted in the past.
What's great about it: More intuitive; program was more accurate in directing user to proper fields and in asking the right questions
What's not so great: "It's Deductible" component misbehaved and was useless

Very easy to use, no surprises, used efile for first time, would suggest screen that asks for PIN # specify five digits required.

Many years of use

The item that it did not handle properly was the Maternity Home Tax Credit. I entered the amount but it did not show up on form MO-1040, line 37. I had to force it in and it is a good thing that I knew where it should show up.
What's great about it: Placed everything in its proper place including Mo. state tax
What's not so great: It didn't handle one state item correctly.
