I've been doing my own taxes for decades. I love not having to worry about the math. I find navigating in turbo tax to be easy. Sometimes I let the programs ask its questions and sometimes I just navigate myself. If I can't find where I want to go, I switch to forms and go to the correct form, then the software usually lets me input the dollar amounts I need. This year was the first time I needed to use live help. Your staff was very knowledgable and helpful. Live chat is so much better than waiting on hold with the IRS for over an hour only to get connected to someone who doesn't know any more than I do. Thanks for hiring professionals!
What's great about it: easy to navigate; love switching to forms; love live help
What's not so great: pop-up help isn't too helpful

Taxes Couldn't Be Easier!

Turbo tax is awesome. I have used it for 10+ years and love it! Use to pay hundreds to have taxes prepared and eventually realized they were using turbo tax too! Tried it once and have never looked back. Thank you TT!
What's great about it: Electonic, efile, less paperwork, thorough Q&A, pdf file saving, xfer's last year's info, etc.!
What's not so great: Not clear on whether I should upgrade from Deluxe to Premier.

What's great about it: Even easier to use that provious one I have used.

Easy Software - Good to USe

I am using this for last 10 years. Doing taxes is easier than making a coffee. I would even look at any where else.
What's great about it: Great interface, self directing and easy

Missed the long lines!!

I'm happy I finish my return on time. Last year my ex-husband file our taxes late and I still haven't got my refund. This year I can expect it to be direct deposit to my checking account and I get a credit back. I didn't have to wait in long lines and completed everything within 24 hours. I pulled an all night-er, but it was worth the peace of mind being finish at 4:30 P.M.
What's great about it: Completed in 24 hours!
What's not so great: Last year if you were married but now divorced!!!
Pros: I had a baby

If you have your documents in order, it is not a problem. I've been a user since almost the beginning. Features and benefits have improved dramatically. No longer a chore.

Improvement over earlier versions

This years software looks better in terms of transfer of my investment data, which is a lot of work, from my investment banker. And it was better than earlier years as it was complete and accurate. This is definitely an improvement..
What's great about it: Transferred my earlier year data as well as data from my banker
What's not so great: Had ;problems starting software from my computer. Was hard to figure out but finally Turbo Tax site helped.
