It was rather cumbersome especially with AZ State

Why did AZ have 4 separate contribution forms for different types of schools; private, public, certified, etc.
What's great about it: Fed was much easier than AZ
What's not so great: AZ was not a breeze than Fed. Had to Live Chat 3 times to get it corrected.

Last minute savior!

As doing my taxes go it was fairly painless.
What's great about it: Walking me through it and holding my hand.
What's not so great: It was all positive.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I needed to input earnings from 1099 Misc but because they were the result from personal injury settlement, I needed to then back out those $$ so I would not be taxed. Your software did not have that option "walk thru" available. I had to consult a CPA as to where to input that info. Also, I could not e-file due to entering on line H. Probably due to the IRS rules but it was disappointing.
What's great about it: Walk thru process is pretty easy
What's not so great: Problems with 1099 Misc portion

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and I personally know a CPA that uses it also. That's as good as a recommendation gets!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Could not download last years return
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I like doing taxes at my leisure and feel confident with Turbo Tax. It is also great to have the save feature which allows me to go back year after year. Thanks Turbo Tax!!!!!

Turbo Taxes

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for more than 10 years and feel it is great to have the free version for 1040EZ. New features new updates are great. This year I will begin to use Quiken to make it even more streamline.
What's great about it: Very straight forward and easy to use
What's not so great: state tax section - if you state has no state taxes filter and eliminate those questions.
