I've used TurboTax for years, and each year it seems simpler. Not sure why, but somebody is doing something right! As long as a person has all of their information in order and ready to go, using Turbo is a snap.
What's great about it: Logical sequence

I have been using Turbo Tax for 6 years, and I have nothing but the highest praise for it. I do not have complicated taxes, and so am able to complete my taxes for both federal and state, check, and file in a single evening. I can't imagine doing my taxes any other way. Very user friendly and clear.
What's great about it: One evening, done! This software is effortless.

state filing charges

File every year with the same issue on state filings. I should have paid for 3 state filings and not 5. Now I'll need to spend time on the phone with Turbo Tax and get it refunded. Same issue every year. I like the product but really wish you could fix this problem.
What's great about it: Easy to do but always have issues with paying for the state filings
What's not so great: Every year I'm over charged for state filings

Had problem with state form

The only entries were a W-2 and 1099_R State withholding taxes, yet it kept responding unable to E-File because of the entries which were transferred from the Fed 1120

Great and easy product

Overall, it has been a great product for me to use for the last 10 years.
What's great about it: Easy import from all income sources
What's not so great: State return is over simplified, and hard to find.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
