I truly appreciate the ease of doing my taxes on Turbo TAx. I like the helpful questions it asks and the very straight forward process of completion. You make e-filing soooo easy. Love it.
What's great about it: links to data systems for W-2's etc. Ability to review data in a compact manner, i.e. not in multiple pages/screens
What's not so great: It was not clear that my retirement pension should be entered as a Bailey settlement for NC taxes.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have never had a problem. It is user friendly, self explanatory, and time friendly. Easy to save when you need to quit and finish later.

Success With TurboTax for 10+ Years

LOVE TurboTax. Have been using it since in came out over 10 years ago. Eliminates arithmetic errors, saves year-to-year data, e-file, rules & forms are up-to-date. Great product!!
What's great about it: Easy, Trustworthy, Accurate
What's not so great: Not all calculations are easy to follow

Only reason I purchased Turbotax was to not have to enter all information, since I did not use Turbotax last year I could not import anything.Did not use Turbotax because the program would not calculate investment trading. It was a waste of time and money and I will not use it again. It also annoys me that you are held captive to retain all programs from previous years to review old tax records. I will never use it again. When electronically filing, my employer did not list an address(large enough to have own zip code) program kept flagging this as an error until "I finally typed in no address listed as the address.

Very efficient

How about a printed checklist of stuff to have at your side when going through the steps ... precise medical expenses, for instance; medical insurance payment deductions for those of us who never qualified for medical deductions before; knowing you had to have the address and date of your donations -- those are the main things I can think of. You should let people know that this can't be done quickly, either, and to try to do it in a quiet atmosphere so as not to miss anything as you prompt us through the procedure. Great piece of software, tho -- simply GREAT!!!!!
What's great about it: Liked the ease in which everything flowed ...
What's not so great: Can't think of anything that would keep me from using it next year ...

I have used TurboTax for years now and would recommend the product to anyone wanting to do their own taxes.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Great step by step process.
What's not so great: Sometime navigation to a specific area could be a little clearer.

Hate to pay but had too

I would have filed earlier but have had my family quite ill with a stomach bug for 2 weeks. So it became a last minute run to the finish. But I made it. I was glad I am so detailed and keep good records or I would not have found the savings I did since I knew I was going to have to pay some this year. So glad that TurboTax helped me find more savings than I expected. I have been using TurboTax for at least 11-12 years. A wonderful product!
What's great about it: TurboTax found more deductions than I was expecting, so happy for their great questions and detailed information.
What's not so great: Just takes so long, but that is not the fault of TurboTax, I am just detailed and very careful and particular.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Stress reliever

I have used TurboTax for many years now. It saves me money and I can do it on my schedule, not someone else's
What's great about it: Easy to use. No waiting at an office, can do it in your skivies if you want
What's not so great: Takes an internet connection
