Eased the Pain of a Traumatic 2012 Year

I have been a TurboTax user now for many years and this year I was particularly happy to trust my taxes in its hands. 2012 was a terrible year financially and I knew it wouldn't be pretty come tax time. TurboTax took the guess work out and gave me a peace of mind that I did the best job possible.
Thanks TurboTax.
What's great about it: comprehensive & intuitive - i didn't have to think, much
What's not so great: little confusing on the car depreciation with some terms I wasn't familiar with.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have loved this software for years - worked for a CPA for 7 years, and now use this to keep myself on top of changes. IT works for me - this was the first year I had to pay. But that is my own fault.
Highly Recommend!!!
What's great about it: Asks me plenty of questions
What's not so great: Have a little bit of self-employment income, okay for this, but may need to upgrade to the next level in 2014

Love the ease!

Overall I love working with this product. It is very easy to follow from screen to screen and get most of the info entered without issue. My only complaint is especially in the deduction area that some directions are a bit vauge and I had to guess and hope I was entering what was being asked for. The area I was working in was on a trade in of a car used for business purpose and it asked me to go back and figure the depreciated value of the trade in using mileage but not go over the depreciated value of the old car...??? That is my only complaint......And I hope I got it right!!
What's great about it: Simple to follow!
What's not so great: Needs to be a little more clear and precise in instructions on certain screens!

GOOD and BAD

I had a problem with use of vehicles for a business. Sold one and replaced it with another and got into a loop regarding an error. Eventually I changed view and looked at the form. After that, I had no way to return to the same spot in the return. Very frustrating.
What's great about it: Questions are good.
What's not so great: Too many options
