Made my day!!

The amount of time it took to complete my tax filing with Turbo Tax was much less than it took when I used to go to my so-call tax professional's office. Also, I have one of the easiest returns ever, yet every year the cost for filing increased. I'm convinced that the tax professional was using Turbo Tax and overcharging me. I loved the error review feature and felt more at ease than when I used to go into the tax professional's office. I also loved the fact that if I had to, I could stop working in the middle of the filing and come back at a later time without missing a beat.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax took less time to complete than when I used to go into my tax professionals office
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

MOSTLY GOOD - ONE SMALL PROBLEM

Federal - I have very few problems using Turbo Tax. It is very easy to switch back & forth between forms & Step by Step. I use the forms mode to check the return for obvious errors. Good experience with Turbo Tax for last 10 years.
Same for New York State return.
This year MA return would not E file. I had to mail a copy to MA tax authority.
What's great about it: Federal is easy to work with
What's not so great: Small problems can take an hour to resolve.

Maxxed out Simplicity

Beats paying 250+ for someone else to do it and the wasted time waiting for them to finish. TurboTax every year, all year!
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by steps
What's not so great: That it doesn't do my taxes for me.

Easy to follow

Your software is easy to follow and the questions and explanations are clear.
I have had problems in the past with electronic filings not going through. Even after having received confirmation, I received a demand for tax returns. Therefore I do not trust your software to electronically file my taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to follow questions and explanations
What's not so great: electronic filing didn't go through

Anyone could do this. I have two kids and it took no time so I could get back to the things that matter.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax allowed me to take My Return to the next level
What's not so great: You just wonder if it is really this easy.

I've been using this product for over 10 years. It has helped us facilitate through disasters, growing children, college, change of businesses & employment.
What's great about it: Organization
What's not so great: Needs to carryover deductions from previous year, without subscribing to another additional component
