Can't be beat!

This year I compare TurboTax to another tax software and an accountant.

Works every year

I use Turbo Tax every year and it always goes well. My situation doesn't change much so I love that it imports last year's information into this year's return. I follow the guided questions and am comfortable I am doing everything correctly.
What's great about it: Loves that it imports my information from year to year.

My Easy 2012 Refund

Intuit has given the taxpayer the best software ever. I have been using TurboTax for many years and this is the easiest to use.as it guides you step by step thru your return. . I can see why it is still the number ! best selling tax software.
What's great about it: Wow! How easy the Tax is to use as it guides you thru your return and lIsDeductible helps also.
What's not so great: I found none as I have been using TurboTax for years!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Ho-hum

Seems to get more expensive to file every year... Looking for a better deal next year... I tried to look at filing seperate returns, and jointly... but had to keep reentering my information... I got fed up and just filed jointly... Going to do homework to find best solution next year... I only recommend this program if you do the EZ form.
What's great about it: easy... But not confident I got the best result.
What's not so great: Cost... And not sure it guided me to the best result.

Makes me feel like a Tax Pro

Good program and will alway use it. Complete and trustworthy.
What's great about it: TTax is very thorough and I am sure a "Tax Profesional" could do better job.
What's not so great: So much I might not recommend to someone who doesnt have some basic knowledge of Taxes.

I have used TurboTax 8 years in a row and would not ever use anything else. They walk you through every step. I also use TurboTax for Business to file taxes for my S Corp. Excellent there also.

Made It Easy

The final check found several items I had neglected to enter, and made it easy to be accurate.
What's great about it: The TurboTax experience was again easy. The questions were straight forward and easy to answer. The final check helped.
What's not so great: I have to pay taxes!

I don't understand what happen to file Federal free? We've used Turbo Tax for approx. 15years and I'm not used to nor do I like these new surprise fees.
