my taxes are pretty simple, Turbotax is easy to use, asks appropriate questions for basic deductions
What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: pay for state and again to file. filing should be free when purchasing states

Long Time TT User

Did 4 returns for my family. Step by step took me where I needed to go for each return. All 4 were in different situations and TT got me through them all without heart or head ache. Navigation was easy and intuitive. Help was a click away and the checks at the end and the audit protection afforded peace of mind. Thanks TT

The software met all my needs. It was organized in a clear and concise manner that allowed me to input data in a highly organized fashion. It caught a couple of errors that I made and allowed me to correct them without starting from scratch. I have used Turbo Tax for years and it doesn't disappoint.
What's great about it: Simple, quick, comprehensive and easy to use
What's not so great: had a brief problem getting rid of old K-1 info

New Status Filing Made Seamless

We have two small businesses, one new this year and a student in college. Was dreading all the new K-1s, expenses, scholarship accounting, etc. Could not have been easier! Stepped through deftly and had explanations throughout to keep me on track if needed. Turbo Tax continues to evolve in the human factor side of things...asking smart questions to get to the vague bottomline of IRS regulations.
What's great about it: Filing as new business a breeze; new student at college, stepped right through those changes; great explanations
What's not so great: Navigation sometimes takes too many steps to go back and update
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
