TT has been an awesome tool for me for many years. Help system worked very well with my problem.
What's great about it: Kept updating to search for deductions
What's not so great: A form got "stuck" had to delete it.

Superior Tax Software!

Highly recommended and so easy to use just following the instructions through the entire process. Great explanations of confusing topics and easy to find answers to your questions.
What's great about it: So easy to use, follow instructions, and great explanations!
What's not so great: So thorough that you get bored with items that don't apply to your individual tax case
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2012 Turbo Tax beats Quicken 2013

I have used Turbo Tax for years and year, (from the first edition). The constant changes to the tax code can be confusing and some of the explanations are not clear enough to make a fully informed decision as to whether that particular part of the code affects you.
The changes to TT2013 at least do not create the myriad of problems that the changes to Quicken Home & Business 2013 does. Intuit should take a look at the programmers they have working on TT and move them to the Quicken team to straighten things out.
