File Taxes in Your PJ's

Turbo Tax is easy to use. Just collect your information and follow the steps from personal information to e-filing; then you're done.
I like that I can file federal returns free and only pay a small amount to file the state return.
If you only a few deductions, you still have to go to the bottom of the page to skip the ones you don't need.
All in all, it's a great program. One of my friends used H&R Block last year and went back to Turbo Tax for ease of use.I'll definitely use it again next year.

What's great about it: Quick and easy! Just follow the steps in the program
What's not so great: Slow to move past items you can't use; for example all the different deductions.

too expensive

I worked for 8 days for an employer in another state before the project was canceled and I was returned home. That employer lost all their data regarding my check, so it turns out I don't have to file for IL. But I've already purchased the IL state component for TurboTax so I'm stuck with it.
What's great about it: warns of audit
What's not so great: no way to unpurchased unused states
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I recommend turbo tax for everyone for the first time I didn't dread tax season it was over and done with easily cant wait till next year when I can just import this years info and it will be even easier
What's great about it: ease of use support and accuracy

wow. turbo tax.... one word..... awesome! my return was fast and simple only took 15 mins! love the fact that it helps calculate everything and even checks for errors! definitely using this again next year!
What's great about it: it was fast and easy!
What's not so great: some more explanations of the complicated returns and deductions

Overall I would use this in a pinch, as I had to this year. However, the Q and A section needs a lot of work. It appeared many user's questions went unanswered, even mine. So I am left with the feeling that I am missing a deduction or two.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions and for the most part easily clarified appropriate use of categories.
What's not so great: Had a couple question and the Q and A section was no help.
