The best choice

An excellent program for the person who wishes to do their own taxes. The Federal and State programs are complete and the guides are simple and fast. I've been using Turbo Tax for years - I would never change to another method. As a matter of fact - each year the program gets faster and easier. I highly recommend it to anyone who is self employed or working by salary.
What's great about it: affordable, thorough, detailed yet easy to use.
What's not so great: none that I can see

Very user friendly except for 1 thing

I needed to send a form 1098c in the mail along with a form 8453. It was a bit difficult to find out if I could e-file the rest of my tax forms or send them all in the mail. I think if i had just kept going I would have found out sooner but thought this should have been covered before deciding wether to mail or e-file.
What's great about it: Love the way everything from last year just filled in and was there to compare to.
What's not so great: The car donation form was giving me grief.

Online upgrades to newer products should be included each year, at a reduced price compared to OTC purchases.

Great Program

Overall an excellent program, only reason I did not give it five stars was due to the fact that it lost a partially completed tax return that I had to exit to find information while I completed a second return, then due to a glitch, I also had to reenter a completed and efiled return that for some reason was not saved.
What's great about it: Easy to use, clear step by step instructions, almost perfect
What's not so great: difficult to figure out where and when program saved file, lost one tax file that was partially completed

Great refund

It's an excellent product that makes filing taxes simple and pain free. Once in a great while, I have to search for something, but so few and far between, I normally find that it was right in front of me the whole time. Simple to just plug in your information, and get the results quickly.
What's great about it: Easy use for someone who doesn't really understand taxes to use by themselves to get a maximum refund
What's not so great: Making sure I found all my deducable
