Easy

I've used this for years and have always been pleased and will continue to use it.
What's great about it: It was easy and quick as long as you have you paperwork together.
What's not so great: The charge for electronic filing of your state eform. I think this should be inlcuded like federal.

Piece of Proverbial Cake

In all, the prep & e-filing went beautifully today. I always enjoy doing my Turbo Tax.
I'm prepared when I sit at my computer because I've known what to gather & file for easy access to my financial info throughout 2012 -- thanks to using Turbo Tax for many years now. Thus, today's filing was again the piece of cake.
What's great about it: So smoothly takes us through the Easy Steps!
What's not so great: Wish I could print any screen I want -- i.e., not just from the forms list.

First time was painless

This year was my first time preparing my own taxes. My father had always done them for me. I lost him two years ago, and this was my first time doing them myself, needless to say I was nervous doing them myself.
That said, the program was super easy to use, from the moment you open it, to automatically updating itself with all the latest taxes changes. From there it takes you on an easy step by step journey through preparing your taxes, and getting you all the correct deductions, and tax credits. Filing them pretty much for you, and making doing your own taxes possible for everyone. Going from being nervous to really stoked on doing my own taxes, feels great. Thanks TurboTax!

Anyone can do their taxes!

Taxes used to be a stressful event in my household. In the past my spouse would have to gather the kids & leave for the afternoon. This year my 11 year old daughter made the comment, "Dad you didn't get grumpy at all this year."

Easy Filing

I used to spend many hours/days reading IRS instruction sheets, running back and forth to get "the right" forms and still wouldn't be sure if I got it right. With Turbo Tax, I feel extremely confident that I have done all I can do. Thanks, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax guides you so easily! The transfer of info from one year to the next is great!

Not too bad

I like using turbo-tax, but the options to pay with a credit card are too expensive if you owe a substantial amount. I chose to print and mail voucher, but the software conveniently skips the actual printing of the voucher - need to make that more user-friendly if people choose it as an option. (It says that it will print it out after you are done, but does not assist you with it whatsoever - had to go back and hunt it down myself)
What's great about it: easy step-by-step
What's not so great: payment choices too expensive
Pros: I bought or sold investments
