Makes Tax Filing Less of a Hassel!

Even for a former CPA, I can't imagine going through the tax filing process with out TurboTax or a qualified tax professional. The complexity of the US tax code is beyond belief!
What's great about it: TurboTax does the bulk of the organizing for you and walks you through the process.
What's not so great: State tax process definitely not as strong as the Federal.

EASY, STRESS FREE

USING TURBO TAX HAS MADE DOING MY OWN TAXES AS STRESS FREE AS DOING TAXES CAN POSSIBLY BE. I WAS IN THE COMFORT OF MY OWN HOME, AND I COULD WORK ON THE TAXES AT MY OWN PACE. I JUST PICKED UP WHERE I LEFT OFF. MANUVERING THROUGH THE PROGRAM WAS NOT DIFFICULT. I COULD GO BACK AND LOOK AT MY WORK WITHOUT FEAR OF LOSING MY PLACE. THANK YOU TURBO TAX!
What's great about it: IT WAS EASY, THE PROGRAM DID ALL THE WORK FOR ME!
What's not so great: Ummmm, STILL THINKING!

The only tool, but slipping

Turbo Tax is the only tool to use. Unfortunately, parts of the tool I use continue to get moved to more expensive versions of the tool. Don't get greedy intuit.
What's great about it: easy to use, understand and trust
What's not so great: Not as complete as it once was, more and more going into upgraded versions only

Great Tool

Filing taxes couldn't be easier. I will always use Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy to Use
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 tax review

i found the program just like the pass 10 years being very user friendly. I did have problems to get more information from the help selects give , everytime they wanted me to sign in and i had to change my passwords about four time. also when reviewing a question which was asked before very hard to locate what the answers were posted. also i think that turbo tax should have a link for each section straight to the IRS Pub 17 and other direct changes to it.
What's great about it: I like the program as being very user friendly
What's not so great: The only problem i had was trying to get more detail information on the questions being asked.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Excellent Tax Preparation Software

I have been successfully utilizing Intuit TurboTax tax preparation software every tax season since 1987. Intuit continues to provide, and support, a tax preparation software package, from year to year, which is consistently easy to use and accurate.
What's great about it: All Positive
What's not so great: No Negative

Tough Turbo Tax

In general TT is great. I appreciate how it organizes the step by step process. I felt the HSA forms were very confusing.
Also, not all the pertinent federal information was transferred to the state.
E-filing was cool, except all the ads for additional products.
What's great about it: Error checking
What's not so great: Some forms seemed repetitive, and the error pages highlighted the error or missing info in two locations.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
