My first tax refund

This is my first time using Turbo Tax and I used my parents Turbo Tax. They have been using it for at least 15 years or so, and have never had a problem. It was quick and easy to use. It guides you effortlessly through each section, though I have to admit, I didn't have much in the way of expenses or such.
What's great about it: easy to use, straight forward

Best for Deployed Military

Quick and easy and can be done completely online. Save a copy and ship it to the cloud for next year's return. E-file and direct deposit. I am a happy warrior.
What's great about it: Defaults into military mode.
What's not so great: Didn't experience any! (but I live a simple life)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Joy to Have Finished

It is now not such a nightmare to file the 1040 forms. The shepherding process that has been created really works. Also not being responsible for the arithmatic process as I am math challenged makes it so much easier. Wow, I'm finished this for year!
What's great about it: Ease being shepherded through forms.

turbo tax is simple to install and use. it prompts you for all information needed for filing. if you need a different turbo tax than what you bought, it suggest downloading the one they feel you should use. you can use the software for more than one set of returns. it can be used for multiple states. it saves your prior year tax information to be used for the next year. i have used it for years! LOVE IT!
What's great about it: takes little or no effort
What's not so great: hard to know which turbo needed

Good Product, Could Use Polishing

For the most part, Turbo Tax is a solid easy to use product that provides great results. I have used it for years with great success. The only criticisms I would give are as follows:
1) Some questions are confusing. The answer you click on is not spelled out clearly. It would help to have all the choices have a Bold statement explaining the selection, not as part of a paragraph at the top.
2) There is no delete option for individual topics (ex W-4). If I go through a topic I was unsure of, I have to go back through completely and delete information manually. I would be nice to be able to remove topics I don't need.
3) A bundled all in one tax software that includes federal, state, and the e-file for both would be nice. It would save the hassle of having to do an online purchase to complete my taxes.
What's great about it: Good Product, Accurate, Asks About Everything
What's not so great: Some Topics Vague or Confusing
