I've been using Turbo Tax for years... they always keep the program up to date and make improvements each and every year - which cannot be easy when dealing with government bureaucrazy... kudos Turbo Tax.
The system takes me through the tax return, step by step, asking easy questions, pointing me to the info I need, with little tips along the way. Really, I cannot say enough positive about the program... I'm no expert (obviously!) but this is a great tax program that I would recommend to everyone...
What's great about it: So user friendly!
What's not so great: None that I can think of...

My friends talk for months about having to gather all their papers to go see their "tax expert." I have learned from Turbo Tax what paper work I need to save and throughout the year I just add it to my tax folder. Then, when I sit down to do my taxes with "my tax expert" (Turbey, aka: Turbo Tax), it's a breeze. I love using Turbo Tax. It makes me feel so smart and confident about my tax returns.
What's great about it: Walked me through all the areas that applied to my return.
What's not so great: Needs tips on how to keep your refund file safe (use a password and save on CD).

What's great about it: So simple to use, just answer the questions and fill in the blanks.
What's not so great: Wish there was more information offered while covering unemployment compensation.

What's great about it: Clear, Concise, Simple
What's not so great: You need to pay for it
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
