Yikes! What happened Turbo Tax???

WHAT HAPPENED???
I've been using TurboTax for Mac for many years but this year after working through all of the steps, the Review area showed that I needed to "Update My Forms" that TurboTax didn't automatically update. I had to search hi and low to figure out how to update the forms so that I COULD submit my taxes, even after "Checking For Updates" under TurboTax. Yikes! Scared me! Since I've been happy with TurboTax for so many years I will give it another shot next year, but I sure hope I don't run into this same problem next year....

I've been using TurboTax for a few years now. Even tho I now use the standard deduction, it is more convenient than trying to manually fill out all of the information on the forms. As I said before some of the screens seem to be somewhat confusing. Perhaps you could work on making them more intuitive.
What's great about it: You did all of the math
What's not so great: Some screens were a little more confusing than last year

It walked me through every step. When I first went to get my old information, it was a pain to figure out and not as many things were filled in for me as in the past years.
Other than that, this program has always been very helpful and is the way I do my taxes.

What's great about it: Has never steered me wrong. Very thorough.
What's not so great: Hard to go from filing online back to CD. Files were hard to find.

I love TurboTax! You all make it simple and as pain-free as taxes can get. I could not be more satisfied with my experience!
What's great about it: So much simpler than going into any store!
What's not so great: None!
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for the Macintosh since it was called MacinTax. Every year it's helped me, as my situation has changed it's been up to the challenge.
What's great about it: Helps make self filing easier.
What's not so great: None for me

Fairly simple program but it had me second guessing myself do to it asking for state tax info. when it should have known that Tenn. doesn't have a state tax.
What's great about it: pretty easy to use
What's not so great: had me confused in the end asking me to file state tax.
