I have been using Turbo Tax for a few years and have liked it each year. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps

1. Accounting for paying back SSA benefits previously received could be better. Just entering a negative benefit amount does not provide the reason for the entry and it does not specifically ask about pay-backs.
2. The AMT calculation asks to retrieve data from prior years. It should not be required when it has access to the prior years of data in the TT folder.

Disappointed This Year

I was extremely disappointed that I could not load TurboTax on new laptop running Windows 8. First time I ever had a problem. Had to use my children's older laptop.
What's great about it: Calculated taxes great.
What's not so great: Didn't work on new laptop with Windows 8

What's great about it: Questions are well worded for someone who does not know about taxes
What's not so great: cost of efiling free state should be included in the cost of the product like the federal is.

I have used TT sucessfully for years. It has taught me a thing or two about refunds and how to keep track of information. Great tool for a business. It helps you make wise business moves for your tax burden.
What's great about it: Easy guidance
What's not so great: When I want to review it takes me too far back
