Last Minute Headache Remedy

Largely due to my being away from home assisting my widowed daughter run a sizeable ranch, I found April 15 creeping up on me quickly. Getting my paperwork together on April 14, I fretted all that night about having to do taxes on the 15th. After a sleepless night, I opened the 2012 TurboTax box and inserted the disk. It turned out to be the best headache remedy I have ever experienced. Taxes were completed in record time and without all of the angst normally associated with tax preparation. Even though I have used TurboTax previously, this year's prep was the easiest I have ever done. Thanks, TurboTax, you are my hero! I used your step-by-step instruction guide and it was virtually painless, simple, fast and very stress relieving. See you next year...
What's great about it: Made a detestible, complicated, confusing and irritating task palatable.
What's not so great: none worth mentioning

I have used Turbo Tax since about 1992. I have found that
it is a very easy way to file. Always have hated to fill out
forms on paper. This is good. I even used it when my
husband and I sold a house together and filed our first
return together in almost 20 years. I will continue to use
it. My girls have not talked me into doing it on line at Turbo
Tax or at my bank. I still like to hold the disk in my hand.
Since I am almost 77 and I hope to use it for many years.

Winning Product

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. One year I tried another product. It was not nearly as intuitive and the next year I was back. From simple returns to more complex returns I have full confidence in TT. I've bought and sold houses, refinanced, had rental property, sold rental property, have investments, IRAs, and many other complex issues. Turbo Tax handles it all easily and I'm confident it's correct.
What's great about it: Easy to use; Easy to understand
What's not so great: Only one state return allowed
Pros: I bought or sold investments

First time using the Turbotax. The Turbotax Deluxe took me step by step. EXCELLENT !!!!
What's great about it: EXCELLENT guidance for 1st time users.
What's not so great: Audit support doesn't have a toll-free number to speak directly to a person for your questions or concerns .

As I stated, I have used them for the past few years and plan to continue to use them again in the future.
What's great about it: It was easy and to the point for the most part, which is why I have used them for the past several years.
What's not so great: Some issues from a payout from a 401k for a job loss that it kept thinking was wrong, though I was right
