Changes through the years

I have used Turbo Tax since its inception. For someone who knows what they are doing, the number of screens, questions, advertisements, and cutesy pictures have made it slow and cumbersome to use. There are many advantages to it over ITO, but it definitely is being geared toward those who have no understanding of tax law. I will be looking at other options for next tax season.
What's great about it: In the Forms view- very easy to navigate from one form to another
What's not so great: Too many advertisements and screens to go through

I have used this product for many years now. It has been easy to follow and appears to give me the greatest opportunity for accuracy and maximum return.

Love Turbo tax in general. Had to file an amendment for my sister and I'm positive it's wrong. Instructions not very clear!

Gets the job done

This software used to be great, now it is only OK. I still like using it for tax preparation, but the interface has been dumbed down from earlier versions. In sections where the list of subsections is larger than the window, it is difficult to scroll.
Gets the job done, but it doesn't make it easy.
What's great about it: Liked the e-filing and direct pay options
What's not so great: interface is clunky, hard to navigate within ieach section

I love using turbo tax and have used it for the past 4 years, it is user friendly even for those who are not tax language savy. I definitely recommend it.
What's great about it: easy to understand
What's not so great: no clear guidance on medical premiums pretax vs after tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo tax gets better each year; loved the efile which seems to be new and easier to use this year.
What's great about it: Very user friendly, efiling was awesome!
What's not so great: Today is the filing deadline; am assuming efile will work..
Pros: I bought or sold investments
